Shaafici Pharmaceutical Import Com. (Shafco) is pharmaceutical company in Somalia the company is founded before two decades by the founder Mr. Ismail Ahmed Daib, under the name of "Shaafici Medicine Enterprise” in Bosaaso city of Somalia.

The company is gradually expanded its operations in most cities of Somalia such as Muqdisho, Hargeisa, Bosaaso, Burao, Wajale, Garowe and Gal kayo.

Shafco maintains a famous name in Somalia’s pharmaceutical industry for import of drugs from around the world. Being a country that heavily depends on drug imports, Somalia’s pharmaceutical industry remains among the most competitive industries in the country.

The sustainability in growth has been the strength of Shafco. The opportunities for extending the range of products were explored and materialized so as to ensure long term growth of the company. Now Shafco imports and markets a wide range of pharmaceutical products comprising of injections, capsules, tablets, syrups, ointments,in different pack sizes etc.
